The Cape Town DeclarationAt the International Congress of Psychology (ICP2012) held in Cape Town, South Africa, in July 2012, representatives of eleven African countries came together to discuss possibilities for developing a stronger focus for the role of Psychology within Africa, under the initiative of the ICP2012 Secretariat and IUPsyS.Representatives of the countries present, and of IUPsyS (i.e. International Union of Psychological Science) , crafted and agreed to the Cape Town Declaration.
